This cozy pub offers cask ales and local craft baked goods, and we were welcomed by a warm and friendly group of locals. The selection of fantastic beers was impressive, all served perfectly. After enjoying many casual ales during our travels, I must say how refreshing it was to meet someone passionate about their craft and who thoughtfully selects their beer offerings. The conversation and storytelling were exceptional, and I truly wish we could have a place as wonderful as this one back home!

A year ago we stumbled over this place when we went through callander, and what a sound! a small pub serving Cask ales and local crafts bakers, with a small amo... read more A year ago we stumbled over this place when we went through callander, and what a sound! a small pub serving Cask ales and local crafts bakers, with a small amount of the most friendly locals we met almost everywhere. so many fantastic beers that have been served properly, and after many cask ales on our travels, they let me tell them what a joy it is to have a publican who cares, and chooses his beer wisely. the talk and storytelling is second-to-no, and I wish we could have something as wonderful as the motorhome!
