Castello Di Amorosa - CALISTOGA

Came here after 2 wine tastings elsewhere. Did not book a wine tasting so had to order some wine before we could get into the winery grounds. It has a nice garden and great view of the surrounding countryside. Also has a small enclosure with a few animals which children will enjoy.

This place was the highlight of an otherwise tragic trip that included the closure of the sequoia parks and our rental car being broken into. The drive was idyllic. The grounds and views were serene and the castle itself was sprawling with so many authentic touches that I genuinely felt like it belonged in the Italian countryside. It at least made us forget our trip woes for a few hours.

Our very first wine tasting and your. Our tour guide was Alexander and he was awesome, laid back but very knowledgeable. Made it comfortable for every one to talk to him. Thr castle is beautiful, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wine is phenomenal, will be ordering more online shortly. This castle is a must do. Have to do the vip tour, being able to get the history of the castle, go to the tunnels, and try wine out of the oak barrel made it that much more a great experience. I will be back for more tasting and wine more often. Thank you for setting the bar so high and creating a great memory for us.

This is the best winery!! The best people work there — they are so sweet and kind and they made my experience so much better. Monica and Enrico are the best and they will make your experience so amazing. Monica was kind enough to take into consideration my personal needs and she was extremely understanding. The employees are incredibly awesome and the location itself is gorgeous! Big shoutout to Monica for being the best server!

Nice place to visit with family. Adult over 21 are charged 50$ for regular tasting and children 25$. You will be able to do a self guided tour around the castle (there are some private areas that only the people that pays for the regular tour will have access to which I found very disappointing). The wine tasting includes 5 wines of your choice.
