Contribute FeedbackAmaro offers a cozy Italian ambiance with delicious main courses and fresh ingredients. However, some dishes like the antipasti and meatballs fell short. Some diners found the atmosphere pleasant but encountered issues with flies and dry bread. Mixed reviews included complaints about overcooked pasta and overpowering capers in the shrimp fettuccini. On a positive note, some guests had a memorable experience celebrating special occasions with generous portions and delicious meals. The restaurant received praise for well-prepared dishes with excellent flavors, but there were comments on menu inconsistencies and miscommunication regarding wine offerings. Notwithstanding, some diners enjoyed perfectly cooked swordfish and a fantastic overall meal.
The swordfish was cooked perfectly in the authentic Italian style, thinly sliced and grilled to perfection. The clams and mussels were served in a deliciously spicy cannellini bean stew. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
Staff was very friendly, food was great and service was fast. Wine was good too.
The asparagus salad was the best item we had. The shrimp fettuccini entree unfortunately had lots of capers. Either we missed that or it was not disclosed on the menu. Kind of ruined the dish.
I went to this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner, so they offered a special menu that was different from their usual offerings. The meal included Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, and stuffing. All the dishes were well-prepared and tasty, with the stuffing standing out as particularly delicious. The Turkey could have used a bit more seasoning, but it was fresh and very enjoyable. For dessert, I had pecan pie, which was fantastic. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I definitely plan on returning to try more items from their regular menu.
Unfortunately we had to send multiple items back because they just were not good.
