Zea Maiz - Cali

My boyfriend discovered this place and definitely has options for everyone. The place is very pleasant and the attention is very special. You can go with your non-vegetarian friends and/or vegans, (You can remove the cheese option or change it) each can choose between varied options. My boyfriend and I were very satisfied.

This restaurant offers a variety of traditional Colombian dishes on their menu, which is very appealing.

The staff is friendly and the arepas are tasty and cheap. Lot of vegetarian options and it's possible to remove a product and add another one. I had a vegan arepa, and the houmous and the falafels were very good. I recommend this place.

Good place for when you are hanging out with non veggies. There is only one labelled vegan option, but I'm sure it would be possible to remove the cheese from any of the vegetarian ones and add humus instead (there were loads of vegetarian options).

Thanks to a friend I met this place in the San Antonio area of the city of Cali, Colombia; in the menu only mention 1 vegan option but you can arm your own arepa with a variety of ingredients that they have to offer. Remember to ask about the sauces that are suitable : Personally, always opto for totally vegan places but are a good choice in terms of taste and economy.
