Panda Express - Calhoun
Panda Express
Description
At the local Panda Express, patrons have experienced a mixed bag of surprises. While some found joy in the generous portions and friendly staff, others encountered a concerning lack of menu items and unsatisfactory food quality. Issues such as dry noodles, undercooked vegetables, and unappetizing temperatures plagued several visits. Complaints about staff interactions and cleanliness have also been noted. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant still offers appealing Teriyaki chicken and satisfying orange chicken for those in search of quick, affordable eats. However, improvements in staff training and food consistency are essential for enhancing the overall dining experience.

Heading back home (Ohio) got our room and was feeling Panda express foods awesome servicer friendly and what's most important to me when traveling restrooms clean
I was very disappointed with this Panda restaurant. They were frequently out of various menu items, the noodles were undercooked, and the portions were small for the price. The staff was also unfriendly. The location in Dalton is much better; the Calhoun branch really needs to replace its entire staff, starting with the manager.
I ordered two proteins and two sides, but they were out of beef and broccoli, which I understood since it was later in the evening. They substituted with an extra portion of orange chicken, which turned out to be the highlight of my meal. However, instead of the rice I ordered, I only received noodles, which were very dry and not as enjoyable. On a positive note, the staff was polite, and my food was served quickly.
This is the first Panda Express I've visited where there weren't any cooks in the kitchen, especially concerning since they had run out of some dishes. When our server went to inquire about the food, it seemed like they directed her to where it was, because she returned and tried to prepare it for us herself.
