The drive had scenic spots peppered all along and it was a pleasure to drive there. The last few km are on a windy road (watch out for cars coming the opposite way as the road is narrow , but the road is paved and I had no issues driving down (and up . It was great to visit the mini-plantation with Dina's explanations. I truly enjoyed the coffee and coffee pastries too. It's a family business, where all is done by hand. To find it, you'll have to drive down a windy road that doesn't exist on google maps. The easiest way is to follow the signs for Faja dos Vimes and when you get to end of the road just keep going. You'll be in a GPS no man's land!
