Umami Noodle Bar - Calgary

I believe the standout feature of this restaurant is the noodles, which have the perfect chewy texture. The broth is fairly standard, except for the red devil ramen which I personally prefer. Despite possibly having my taste buds altered by a diet high in sugar and chicken tenders, I find the thick and spicy soup to be excellent. I also suggest trying the raw garlic press. However, I usually return to my basement suite afterwards to focus on leveling up my mage, so bad breath is not a concern for me. The staff at the restaurant are very courteous and efficient.

I have been eager to try out Umami Noodle Bar ever since my friend, who lived in Japan for a year, recommended it to me. She said it was her favorite ramen spot in town. The restaurant is conveniently located next to Jerusalem Shawarma (one of three locations) and there is a parking lot behind the building. Good to know!

The restaurant has a cozy interior and is quite small, but can still accommodate big groups with seating along the walls. The service is friendly and the food, mainly specializing in delicious ramen dishes, is satisfyingly portioned at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the option of also ordering curry dishes.

Umami has one of the spiciest ramen bowls in the city the red devil. If you like spicy then you HAVE to try this one. I got extra lean pork chasu just because I'm a big guy. Also, loved the beef tataki and neo Japanese interior. Check it out!

Really good!!! Excellent service. Affordable prices. The buns were the best!! First time having and I am coming back on my next days off. My friend had the seafood ramen and I liked his more then my ramen. But Im new to this food and I will try other ramen because I like this little gem
