Was Jo Anne Morin at Second Cup Café a mag?
We visited this restaurant on Heritage Day and had a wonderful experience. I really liked their drinks, and the patio was fantastic. I did notice that there was only one staff member on duty, but she handled the busy crowd with impressive composure. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Second Cup Café:
The restaurant felt uncomfortably warm without any air conditioning. The staff was unfriendly, and there were no smiles to be seen. The absence of music contributed to a quiet, dull ambiance that was quite uninviting. The restrooms were not clean and had broken fixtures. Overall, the atmosphere was simply boring, and I won’t be going back. On a positive note, the beverages were decent. View all feedback.
I was quite disappointed with my order today. I requested a toasted bagel with cream cheese and specifically asked for the cream cheese on the side, as I usually find the amount served to be too much for me. I also mentioned that I wanted it applied lightly. To my surprise, I was charged $1.50 for the cream cheese. If I had ordered the bagel and then asked for the cream cheese separately, it would have only cost me $1.00. I find this unfair. They suggested that I order it that way next time, but I believe they should have informed me about the cheaper option since I had no way of knowing there would be a price difference.
The customer service was the worst I've ever encountered. During my visit, they didn't honor the price on the sign and charged me extra. I ordered a cappuccino, but the coffee I received was the worst I've ever tasted. There was a young man serving, but I didn't catch his name.
I always have a great time at this restaurant. The staff is super friendly, and my experience there is always enjoyable. The food and coffee are excellent as well!
The vanilla bean latte is excellent, but the staff could use some improvement. It's a pleasant place to take a break and enjoy a drink.
The WiFi often doesn't work here, but the ambiance is cozy with a fireplace and comfortable chairs. It's much quieter than the Starbucks across the street from Chapters.
