Pie Junkie Crowfoot - Calgary

We tried this place for the first time and were impressed. The location was beautiful and the staff was polite and knowledgeable. Although the cakes were not as amazing as we had hoped, they were still great. I suggest checking out this place for your cake needs, especially if you're looking for small cakes for picnics.

The cakes here are fantastic! We always get several small cakes to try out all the different flavors. Personally, I love the banana pudding, while my wife enjoys the lemon and chocolate peanut butter. We also tried some hand pies during lunch, and they were delicious as well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

It was an okay option. I wasn't particularly impressed. The cakes were decent, not necessarily better than other places, but they did have some nice flavors. The banana caramel was tasty. The crust was a bit dry and there was too much of it on the smaller cakes. I would prefer a larger slice of the big cake so that the crust to filling ratio is better. Unfortunately, they only offer smaller personal cakes and not single slices. I can't really judge the bigger cakes as I didn't try them, but perhaps they have a better balance of crust and filling.

We were so excited when we took our strawberry and white chocolate cake. it was beautifully decorated. but the excitement fell drastically when we served the cake. the crust was so hard and it felt that the crust was made long ago. the fillings were so groundy that the cake collapsed on the servier plate. we ate the fillings first and then the crust separated. we couldn't even put a fork through the crust. super disappointed.

I had Banoffee (banana toffee) pie for the first time years ago in St. Lucia. I have been searching for a comparable pie since and have finally found it. The crunchy, flakey crust, with a good amount of banana and toffee center, beautifully piped with real whip cream makes this one the winner. It's very sweet so even the individual size is a lot for one person. Everything about the pie is reminiscent of my first. Subsequently, I have tried other flavours and all are perfected to a very high standard. I am not a pie enthusiast by any means, but this place is the only place I will buy pies. I also enjoy the natural fibre (wood) band embossed with their name around each pie. Easy to re-use or simply compost. Very smart.
