Delicious, very good food! Just down there is a little pricier... I have to use the 3 item food plus rice and well pop. costs about 16-17$. If you like Chinese food, you will like this. Also not a waiter to serve you at the table, but free beverage refills. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Panda Express:
From the reviews I'd heard, I was expecting more. I ordered the orange chicken (signature dish) and the flavor was a little bland, but the flavor it did have was good, just not bold enough. Dushes were very fresh, but not packing a punch. Prices very reasonable for portion sizes compared to similar competitors. View all feedback.
The food is great, but there's definitely room for improvement in customer service. I visited a few months back and arrived at 10:50 AM for lunch. I joined a group of others waiting outside, but the staff didn't open the doors until exactly 11 AM. While I understand that they have a schedule to follow, I think a little flexibility would be appreciated when there's a line forming outside the restaurant.
The young trainee, Angie, was very pleasant, but the food was disappointing. The chow mein didn't resemble what I would expect from a traditional chow mein; it was overly oily, dry, and starchy. Quite peculiar. My Kung Pao chicken was extremely salty—I had to throw half of it away! The rest was also excessively salty. The cook really needs to taste the dishes before serving them. Overall, there was nothing exciting about the meal, but at least Angie was kind.
I was really disappointed during my first visit. I specifically told the server that I didn’t want anything sweet in my main dish, but she suggested the Sichara shrimp, claiming it was spicy. Unfortunately, it turned out to be super sweet instead. I had to eat it because I didn’t have any other options. The portion sizes were small, and there was barely any meat in the dishes. The little meat that was there was hidden under a thick coating, and I estimate there was only about 100 grams in this $20 meal. Overall, I felt it was a poor value for money. Thumbs down.
Every time I come here there’s some sort of issue. One time they closed an hour early because it wasn’t busyOften times they’re out of items like Beijing Beef or Orange Chicken which I believe is the main draw Or the food is super old and coagulatedThey’ve also been increasingly stingy with their portions. The staff looks terrified to serve the food as if they’ve been reprimanded in the past for giving one piece of chicken too much.Won’t come back here. The value for the price is no longer there. This franchise owner needs to get ahold of his restaurant. You’re failing buddy
Food is average. Entree Portions are small (a little bigger than sample size) they were out of certain entrees 90 mins before closing. Sadly the entree I wanted to try they didn't have. For the cost I expected more.
