The owner's strict policy on chicken availability sometimes leads to being turned away. The restaurant's appearance is unremarkable, but the food quality makes up for it. Regulars appreciate the unique flavors and friendly service, although some guests have encountered unpleasant attitudes from staff. Overall, the Smokehouse diner is recommended for those who appreciate delicious, crispy fried chicken in an unassuming setting.
Good chicken. Best chicken n fries<br/ <br/ And if Ogden 'scares you ' im sure the staff can arrange police escort to the safe zones outside of this hazardous community.
GREAT PRESSURE COOKED CHICKEN. Not greasy al all. Decor is a bit simple but the food is great and the service quick iIf you are looking for good chicken at a reasonable price this is the place
Restaurant itself is a dump, but who cares when you have fried chicken that's this good! Fries are pretty awesome too. Forget KFC, smokehouse is the place to go.
The best chicken in town....pressure-cooked-deep-fried-awesome-chicken!....Ya, the guy running the joint isn't the nicest at times and the decor isn't the prettiest, but its all just part of the show....he's much friendlier to me when i come in with my Mohawk tho.Definitely will return again again.
Smokehouse Diner may be a small, unassuming restaurant, but don't let that deter you from trying their amazing food. Whenever I am in the area, I always make sure to stop by for lunch. Their fried chicken is hands down the best I have had in town. What sets it apart is the broaster style of cooking which ensures that the chicken is not greasy despite being fried. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal.
