my daughter and her friends celebrated their birthday at model milk, so this is an evaluation of five teenagers. they got the food. her server was “top tier”. they have the opportunity to taste different foods with unique aromas. the ambiente was like a cool jazz club. they had a fabulous experience. so we come back to enjoy the restaurant again. thanks to the wonderful worker at model milk! We had one of the most enjoyable nights out during our time in Calgary. The service we received was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. Our group of 6 decided to share all the dishes, allowing us to taste a wide variety of items on the menu. We were impressed by the creative and innovative combinations of ingredients that all blended together perfectly. While the prices were not cheap, the dining experience was well worth it. This restaurant ranks highly among my favorites, even in comparison to restaurants in London, UK.
I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, everything was perfect. My favorite appetizer was the calamari, which offered a great combination of flavors and textures. The Thai sausage and sweet bread special were also excellent. I opted for the beef burger with homemade fries, and it was a fantastic choice. The beef was flavorful and delicious. Our server Collin provided excellent service, as did the rest of the staff who attended to our table. Everyone was very knowledgeable and made our dining experience even better. Thank you for a wonderful evening! The atmosphere was fantastic and I will definitely be returning in the future.
This is an incredible restaurant to dine at. It offers a diverse and unique dining experience. It was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The constantly changing menu adds an element of excitement. I will definitely make it a point to visit this place every time I am in town.
Love it here! A must stop when we come through Calgary. Had exceptional service last night again! Thanks for the amazing meal and dining experience. Our waitress taught us something new about mushrooms, a different cut of beef and gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon. We will be back
Every dish was presented with incredible attention to detail and tasted amazing! Our server was JF and his knowledge of the menu was second to none. In fact, all the service staff were highly attentive to their tables. Best item on the menu... baked oysters in the appetizers. So good I indulged in another for dessert! Slow clap

Burger definitely amazing! also enjoyed the beef tartare. the cocktail menu is fun and there is a lot of seating. we enjoyed our experience!
Dinner was excellent, the menu was reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. You might spend a bit more here, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit.

The food at Model Citizen was outstanding, and the service was warm and inviting. Our waitress was well-informed about the menu and attended to us promptly whenever needed, which was ideal. The ambiance was pleasantly quiet, enabling us to converse easily all evening. The vibrant background noise added a lively and full atmosphere to the space.

This was our first time to eat here and we are very impressed. Out Server Jamie was the best!! She was very attentive and polite. She made big suggestions, replaced our plates and wiped the table in between. Your attention was top notch. The timing was perfect between Appy, Main and Desert. They were busy, but we didn't feel rushed at all. The FOOD: We have 5 appies. First, oysters. Let me tell you we came from BC, where seafood is fresh. But that oyster was so good. They have their homemade sauce that was so good! Second appetite was the carrot we do not even know, carrots can taste good! Vegans out there, this is your court! The third appy: Brioche rolls with special butter. This homemade bunny has rly good texture and a lil sweetness to it. Fourth: wagyu beef tar; perfect acidity and the crispy thing came with it compliment the texture and taste. Last Appy was the tranquility we were happy to see when we browse through the menu from home. We only have room for one participant: bbq alberta pork with brocollini, very tasty!! Not least the apple cake. Never try apple cake with cheese, but that's pretty good! Especially on December 31, everything was so perfect. The team works here and they look happy to work there. We returned to BC, so this is our last meal in AB, which was very memorable. Put a bow in our trip!
One of the best. I love every dish. Calamari was a surprise, thought it was deep fried, but not, liked it a lot. I have to taste her hot roasted chicken, well seasoned, meat was juicy. Very busy when we were there, enjoyed the mood. Great service.
If you don't typically think of Calgary as a food destination, think again. I recently had several delicious meals at Model Milk, which stood out as a highlight. Despite being a last-minute reservation for a large group, the staff was incredibly accommodating and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding from start to finish, including dishes like hot chicken, perfectly carved brisket, life-changing milk bread, T-bone steak, fried mushrooms, kale salad, donuts, mortadella carrots, and calamari. The cocktails were fun and the atmosphere was solid. I highly recommend dining here.
My only complaint is the restaraunt is LOUD, but that happens when everyone has a great time. The food is creative (but not strange) and delicious. Service was great. The Halibut and the fried chicken was so good, I could have ordered seconds. Very recommended.
First time experience at Model Milk and it was excellent. The server went above and beyond. We ordered a dish and it wasn’t to our liking. Our server (Kate) removed the dish from our bill. Prices are affordable and the menu is creative and refreshing. It can be a bit loud but the food and hospitality is worth it all. There’s parking in the rear of the establishment. Take a trip to Model Milk for a change of pace experience. Cheers!
