I had late night cravings one night. I called these guys up on the hopes they were open. I made the call, they answered I ordered a large Pho he said in a kind-gruff like voice, be here 10 minutes. I made it just in time before they close. I 'm not sure if he threw in extra, but my portion was HUGE and it hit the spot. I 've called shortly before closing a few times since then. He knows who I am and he is always supe... View all feedback.
What Brandon Kristofer Pinco Cabanillas doesn't like about Mimosa:
Bland and flavourless. Nothing authentic here, Food is amateur at it's best, do not order the luc lac beef, it's simply tomato sauce and beef slices with no flavour, not like it should be cooked. The satay noodle soup was way too spicy. Don't waste your calorie intake on this place... View all feedback.
I can't say I would return to the restaurant. I kept on seeing it and always put off going there. But I decided I should try it out since we were having a lazy evening as we didn't want to cook that night. We were seated quickly. But when we sat down, the tables smelled of an old rag that had been used a couple days in a row. If the restaurant is reading this: you need to bleach the rags in between uses. I was immediately worried about how sanitary my dishes and cutlery would be. Of course, I looked at my drinking glass and it had old lipstick/lip chap on it. It got replaced immediately. But it already proved the red flag I had at first instinct. The decor was just plain bad. Even the booth seat I sat in had a permanent butt indentation. The food was just alright (pho, vermicelli plate). I've had better Vietnamese food overall. The staff were friendly. It seemed like they were getting a lot of phone calls for take-out orders.
Delicious food!! We had a great experience there! The price is reasonable. Best subs down south. service was very good. highly recommended!!
Vietnamese let-down. My wife and I normally enjoy Vietnamese cuisine for both it's delicate flavors and it's spicy dishes. Ordinarily, the meals we ordered are very quickly served and the customer service is fantastic. This place however, was more than a disappointment. We waited over an hour just for them to bring us a menu, let alone a glass of water. There was an abundant flurry of apologies after I made a comment regarding the wait times with excuses regarding how busy their slightly larger than half capacity. There were no napkins, nor utensils offered until after we sat there staring at our meals for almost 20 mins, and again, I had to call over a server to request them. The meal that was eventually given to my 6 yr old son was so incredibly spicy that he was unable to eat more than a single bite after waiting almost 2 hours after arrival. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a Vietnamese restaurant at all.
Delivery fail. I was happy to see they had rice paper spring rolls since I'm very intolerant to wheat and they accidentally sent regular spring rolls and when we called them they basically just said oops.... without offering to correct it. Good thing i didn't eat the spring rolls or else I would have gotten very sick.
Best noodle soup ever! the broth is amazing. and the lemongrass beef bun is so good. tender NOT fatty beef. Love the owners and have been going here for 15+ years. not the best place to eat-in because its a little dark in there, but very quiet so you might like that. I Love the food!
