Margarita's Dishes - Calgary

This is my favourite place to eat in the farmers market! The prices are very reasonable and everything is delicious. I usually get the pierogies and bratwurst, which comes with sauerkraut (I don't like this in general so I leave it out) and steamed vegetables. The pierogies are fantastic the filling is smooth and creamy with lots of cheese. I liked the bratwurst a lot as well. Sometimes I will also get a cheese blintz with jam and sour cream the crepes are perfectly cooked and the crispy top from frying provides a nice crunch. <br/ <br/ If you like Ukrainian food this is a must try while you're at the market!

OMG we drive to the farmers market just to eat here. Everything we order is amazing, I never knew Ukrainian food was so delish. Love the perogies and my fav is this meat crepe thing (sorry can't remember the name). The owner is so kind and humble definatly a person that deserves all the success.

Favourite place to eat, hands down.. I LOVE this place! Going here is an absolute treat, I am never disappointed. I typically order a spinach and feta blintze, perogies, and if I'm feeling extra hungry a latke. I like sour cream for the blintze and perogies, and apple sauce for my latke. Their fresh juices are delicious, the carrot apple beet being the family favourite. The service is always excellent, the staff are exceptionally personable. The only way I could be happier with this place is if they were open all week long.

A MUST when you're at the farmers market! All of their food is amazing... But their borscht is to DIE for! Make sure you get the sour cream fresh dill on top!

This family truly knows how to cook! The perogies are fantastic, the schnitzel is amazing, and the banana bread is probably the best I've ever tasted.
