The flavours in our lunch were exceptional. The homemade pasta was different and delicious. The grilled cheese with apples was a nice touch. Service was terrific. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Ma Maison:
Apparently, this restaurant has constantly closed for the business, but not disturbing to contact us and inform about their upcoming closure. So we had to get in another restaurant at 7:45 on Friday night, which was not easy. I suggest that the owner has better communication skills, they should try to open another restaurant. I want to make sure that I give recognition where it’s due: both the waiter and bartender were exceptional. The food however was below subpar. I took my parents out for brunch expecting to have a flavourful, well prepared experience. I ordered the bacon eggs benedict, my mother the brioche French toast and my father the omelette. My eggs Benedict was over cooked to the point of chewing rubber, it was on dry English muffin from no name super store brand and the hollandaise was utterly flavourless and over cooked. It was so dry I literally choked trying to swallow. The same was said about the French toast. The omelette was reportedly “okay”. At best I would rate this experience as 2/10. I’d rate it 1/10 if they forgot the egg on the eggs Benedict. Totally underwhelming and disappointing. Don’t let this restaurant catch you like it did us your local grade 6 home ec class could perform better in the kitchen.

I tried this restaurant for the first time, and it has a charming, cozy atmosphere since it’s housed in a converted home, which fits its name perfectly. It reminded me of a restaurant in France. I visited for Mother’s Day, and although I wasn't expecting it, we were offered a set menu, which wasn't indicated when I booked through OpenTable. The amount of food provided for the set price was generous, and I definitely didn't leave feeling hungry. The presentation of the dishes was lovely, and the quality was nearly there. The salmon was slightly overcooked, which is understandable given the complexity of the dish with the outer pie pastry. The tomato gazpacho, however, was outstanding. The beef tenderloin was not cooked to my preferred level of doneness, but it was still quite good. The toasts for the eggs Benedict were a bit difficult to cut through. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Our water glasses were promptly filled by the waitstaff before they ever got too low.

The restaurant boasts a stunning and elegant atmosphere within a historic building. The soup of the day was exquisite, and the steak was simply divine. We paired our meal with a wonderful bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which perfectly complemented our dinner. I will certainly be returning!

Returned for another birthday lunch celebration, which was a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The Quiche Lorraine, the Grilled chicken salad and the pork were all immensely enjoyed. We keep coming back and enjoyed Ma Maison as well.
