I like the vibe and atmosphere. The big noodle bowl at the front is pretty cool.The food is ok. We tried 3 different soups. I was left wanting more out of the broth. I feel there was something missing to add depth of flavor. The tomato one was my favorite and i agree with another post about the tomato adding some acidity which is needed. My daughter and I stopped for lunch. This was an amazing place. The food was incredible, the service perfect and the overall place was spotless. We had a beef noodle soup, onion pancakes, pot stickers, unagi rice, and braised cabbage. We would go back in a heart beat.
We went for an early dinner before Stampede and had a good dinner! Ordered the fried steam buns, the lambo noodle soup with extra beef and an egg, pork soup dumplings, and the fried chicken. The soup broth was flavourful, the beef was soft but not as flavourful as it could have been, and we wouldn’t order it with an egg next time. The fried chicken was really good, small well battered pieces with a nice dip. I didn’t like the pork soup dumplings but this was my first time trying.
So good, definitely would recommend this place for some delicious noodles. 8.5/10
I came here for the Taiwanese Beef Noodle, aka Signature Beef Noodle, at Lambo. It came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. The Signature Beef Noodle had good flavor, and the noodles were the right texture. It is so much better than other places in town and legitimately tasted like Taiwanese Beef Noodle.The Pork Soup Dumpling was tasty but lacked in soup . The Deep Fried Tofu was very crispy on the outside while soft and moist on the inside. The Deep Fried Bun was delicious and just the way I remember it from my childhood.Overall, I enjoyed my meal here. I would definitely come back for the Signature Beef Noodle. I would skip the Soup Dumplings and try their Potstickers next time.
Lots of different dishes to try. We loved all the smaller dishes, especially the soup dumplings, but found the noodle soup broth didn't have enough flavour.
