This is not my first review of this restaurant. I just love the friendly service and excellent food. Inexpensive, tasty and memorable. I would recommend it to anybody. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Green Chili - Walden:
You get what you pay for at this little hole in the wall...it is cheap and the quality is "Meh" but if you want to gorge yourself on rice & butter chicken then it's ok. The service is fine, again suits the price point. View all feedback.
Have ordered takeout from here many times and it never disappoints. Delicious. Love the chicken pakora and all the curries we have tried have been extremely tasty. Highly recommend
A week ago my Friends at school decided for an early Christmas dinner, everything is planned except for the Venue. 1 week before the set date I was here with my employer, He treated me and my co-employee with a sumptous dinner. In the entrance itself I already knew this is a place worth coming back! Their service and Butter chicken is highly appreciated and recommended by everyone during the Dinner! You should always pair your butter chicken with their Mango Salisi! yum!!!
This is one of the best restaurants i have visited in Calgary so far. The food is inexpensive and soooo tasty. The food came pretty fast and the service in general was good. The restaurant itself is small but nice.
Green Chili is by far my favourite Indian restaurant in deep south Calgary. The only drawback is that the dishes are a little overpriced...that being said, the Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan are awesome! In fact, every dish that we've tried has been delicious!
My family and I used to visit this place all the time until we moved away a couple years ago. We were recently in the area so we decided to get pick up some dinner from there. We called to put in an order and after being put on hold for 10 minutes, we ordered our usual. They said it would be ready in 30 min, but when we got there 45 min later, the food still wasn't ready. Then I went to pay and I noticed what cost me $60 2 years ago now costes me 90!!!! Not only did the prices skyrocket but when we got home, we found our some of our naan bread to be burnt, only a couple pieces of meat in our currys which were not that great when compared to other Indian reasurants, and the keema kulcha (meat naan) had about a teaspoon of meat per naan. It was such a dissappointment. There are much better Indian places in Calgary that are more reasonably priced. I think it is say to say my family is never eating there again.
