What User doesn't like about Empress Palace:
I decided to give this place another try, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The lunch special included a large portion of vegetables with only a small serving of undercooked ginger beef. I'm not sure if this decline in quality is due to the impact of Covid or simply poor management. I give it 3.5 stars, but it's on a downward spiral. View all feedback.
We love this place. We've only ever ordered takeout and we do our own brown basmati rice at home. We order about 10 things each time to ensure plenty of leftovers. Our favourites are butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, dal makhni, dal fry, channa masala, chicken tikka masala, kadai lamb, buna gosht, chicken vepedu, beef coconut fry, beef curry. Make sure you ask for spicy if you like it hot our kids can eat the vindaloo otherwise.

Ordered take-out. Food was nice and hot when it arrived and it only took about 30 minutes. Delivery is free for orders over $25 which beats most other options in the area (besides pizza . Service was friendly.<br/ <br/ I ordered a couple of my favorite dishes from their buffet: sesame chicken and singapore noodles, as well the black pepper seafood dish. Overall, good value and very generous portion sizes. It was nice that the seafood dish came with some veggies as well. My only complaint is that some of the chicken was a bit dry (maybe deep fryer isn't hot enough? but I still enjoyed the meal and would order again. I will probably do the sliced chicken next time as it seems to be pretty tender when I get it at the buffet.
Not bad. This place is ok. Typical Westernized Canadian version of Chinese food.The ginger beef was tasty, but the choice of beef was bad. Chewy, low end meat cuts.Chicken balls were awesome and the batter was actually very good.Service was great, and the staff did a great job with us.
This restaurant is new in the area, it is very bright and spacious inside making dining pleasant. If you are looking for westernized Chinese food you have come to the right place. This place will cater to your ginger beef, lemon chicken, ginger chicken cravings. Dessert is standard fruit, ice cream.
