Got room service from the Delta Hotel which I assume was from the Elements Bistro. I ordered the Vietnamese Salad which was awesome. Was tossed in a nice peanut dressing and also provided extra (which I did not use as it was plenty spicy). I thought it was nice that they just charge the price of food and a $3 delivery change, but no automatic gratuity -- so be sure to tip well. If I go to Calgary again, I will stay at the Delta and definitely get this salad. Yum!
We had a breakfast certificate which was good for anything off the menu. Yogurt with fruit and eggs Benedict were good. No fruit garnish with the eggs, unlike how it is most often served. Service was pleasant. We also stopped at the Elements lounge in the lobby the previous night. They have many craft beers and a full bar, no Canadian wine though. The nibbles were very good. It included some coated peanuts made in house, sweet and crunchy.
We had breakfast and dinner here while staying at the hotel. The food both times was excellent, and the staff members where very friendly and they provided excellent customer service. The food selection for both meals was pretty good, and the prices weren't too bad. I personally liked the open concept for the bar/bistro part in the lobby, and the fireplace definitely provided a nice atmosphere as well. Overall, the experience we had was very good.
This restaurant is a decent choice for lunch as they offer a variety of items on the menu and the service is good due to the lack of crowded patrons. However, the decor appears worn out and the prices for food are average, around $18 per item. Overall, it's a suitable spot for a casual lunch with decent service expectations.
A group of colleagues and I gathered at this restaurant for a quick lunch. The service was outstanding – the staff was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. The appetizer chips were delicious, and although the only option for me was the salmon salad, it was tasty aside from the high price of $18. The salad only consisted of lettuce, a piece of salmon, and two strawberries, which I found a bit pricey. The buffet seemed appealing, but unfortunately, it was not available during our visit.
