Great Donair for lunch. Person serving us was excellent, and the man making the Donair was very friendly. You get a good size Donair and I have had him put extra hot sauce on mine and it is fantastic. Lots of kids in the place at noon, but they are all very friendly. View all feedback.

Cute little shop in the corner. Food is ok, not the best Donair but decent. The man making our order was very kind.
My partner and I enjoy Eastern Mediterranean food. We noticed Donair Palace as we were driving through the neighbourhood and opted to give it a try. The lady who served us was very pleasant. I ordered the falafel plate and didn 't receive what I was expecting. The menu stated this was a salad with 4 falafel balls, hummus, grape leaves and pita, and there was even a picture which reflected the same thing. What I received was mostly warm rice with falafel crumbled on top, a small side of salad and a side of hummus. Garlic sauce, tahini, sweet sauce and sriracha were offered, and I took all except sriracha. I was offered a white pita bread which I declined. Although I didn 't receive what I was expecting, what I did receive was pretty tasty. I would have preferred more salad, no rice (except what was in the grape leaves), as indicated on the menu. I am accustomed to Donair shops offering more variety of veggies like radish, cabbage, pickled turnip, and parsley, more sauce options like tatziki and baba ganoosh, and the option of white or whole wheat pita. Maybe unreasonable for such a small shop.

I do not like to post negative reviews but I feel if you decide to open a restaurant or food service you should have a passion for the food you serve.
