Unfortunately, what I... read more Poutine is a beloved Canadian dish that I've missed since leaving Canada. When I saw it on the menu at Demi's Poutine's, I had to try it. Unfortunately, what I got wasn’t true poutine but more of an imitation. Don’t get me wrong, it was tasty, but it lacked the essential melting cheese curds and instead had a lot of onions. The defining features of poutine are cheese curds and thick gravy—without those, it just isn’t poutine. I enjoyed the meal, but please don’t label it Canadian poutine without including the key ingredients. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
