Always my go to for a Viet. Sub. Spring rolls are amazing as well. Owners are always so friendly and service is fast. I have had to get take out a few times as the tables are full often View all feedback.
What Camille Pauwels doesn't like about Bowness Vietnamese:
We've been going to this restaurant since it opened. Love it and have always stopped here on our way into or out of town and have recommended it to many others. It used to be clean and fresh. On our last visit we felt the restaurant was filthy and needs a deep clean. No need for plastics special signs posted everywhere which makes it seem tacky. Turning into more of a take-away joint rather than a restaurant. A good... View all feedback.

First time here passing through Calgary on the way to Canmore. Wanted a Vietnamese restaurant and found this in Zomato with good reviews. Place was not busy as it was about 2:30pm. We were seated right away and given menus. The food we ordered was good, good portions and very tasty. I also ordered a lychee bubble tea with lychee jelly and oh it was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and it was also cheap. If there was a fault I would criticize is probably the garbage bins that were open and just there by the counter.
Cosy neighbourhood Vietnamese with friendly service and fresh food. To start we tried the Fried Taro Cake $5.95 without egg). It arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious! Crispy with a soft, mild interior, and absolutely addictive when dipped in the sweet sauce it came with. For my main dish I ordered the Tofu and Vegetable Sate Soup $8.25 for a small) and my friends got the Vermicelli with Tofu and Vegetable Spring Rolls $10.50) and the Vermicelli with Beef Lemongrass $10.50). Portions are certainly very generous! I enjoyed my soup the tofu was perfectly fried, and the broth was rich and peanut y. I might have liked a few more noodles and vegetables in it though. My friend liked the lemongrass beef but was a bit disappointed in the quality of the meat. The vegetable spring rolls were tasty nicely fried and filled with vegetables. Overall, everything tasted very fresh and was well prepared. Good place to stop by if you're in Bowness and craving Vietnamese!
The Best in the city in my opinion. The service and prices are great and the food is exceptional. I visit this restaurant frequently and don't see that changing as long as I'm in Calgary. #34 with peanut broth is a staple in my take out diet.
Most amazing satay beef soup i have ever had. I crave it all the time. The appetizer specials are all delicious too, the dumplings were flavourful and crispy. What a great little spot.<br/ <br/ Delish!
