Was Jeffa at Blink a mag?
Our waiter was terrific! He had great wine suggestions and was able to get us out on time to enjoy a show. Overall had a great night out with good food and nice ambiance. View all feedback.
What sprigabigs dislikes about Blink:
Meat?? What the heck is going on? I understand the pandemic might make supplies difficult to get or more expensive, but to swap out your fresh ground beef for the Ace burger to a frozen patty of yuck? At least tell the customer that your $19.00 burger is now available from McDonals. So disappointing. Our tomato soup was cold and needed to ask to be reheated. The waiter was impersonal at best. After spending $160.00 f... View all feedback.

Love love love this place I found this gem (thanks Yelp) while visiting the boyfriend in Canada.
Our first dinner at Calgary was at Blink, a trendy restaurant specializing in local ingredients (especially Okanagan peaches) and some pretty creative
To me, Blink is like an old friend that I catch up with from time to time.
We sat outside on the patio along the pedestrian street during stampede week. Three of us had the halibut poached perfectly in olive oil accompanied by an assortment of root vegetables and peeled cherry tomatoes. The flavor combination was excellent and paired well with the Valenciso roija white wine. Another person enjoyed the beef steak dish. For dessert we had the ice cream and tiramisu. The ice cream was flavorful but melted too fast. The tiramisu was creative with a very small amount of shredded lady fingers, mascarpone rolled in a chocolate tube and a small side espresso ice cream which also melted. Overall the food was very good but the portions were small. Fine as a business meal but I would be disappointed if paying myself.
Blink offers a mixed dining experience according to feedback from recent patrons. While some enjoyed the great atmosphere, service, and delicious food, others were disappointed by small portions, slow service, and lackluster dishes. The restaurant is praised for accommodating guests with special requests, such as bringing a service dog in training. The location in downtown Calgary is convenient, and the menu offers a mix of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Overall, Blink seems to be a hit or miss depending on individual preferences and expectations.

Pleasantly surprised. After booking into the hotel, needed somewhere for something light. I was extremely happy with my tomato soup…
We came by to OJs Stephen ave on a Saturday late afternoon for a glass of wine and some snacks. Sophia was our server and she was attentive, friendly and very professional. An excellent location with excellent service!
I enjoyed my cobb salad, service was lovely, but I could not hear my companion at all! Go to watch sports but not to have a conversation!
First, this is NOT children friendly, no high chairs and crayons/papers or anything for kids not even kid friendly cups (they served the drinks in glass cups with a small straw.. Took forever to make our food that we asked them to wrap it to go.. They forgot 3 out of 5 meals and 1 dessert.. By far, it is the worst place to visit!
Nothing massively to write home about. Friendly service, ok food. Not sure about letting 2 dogs eat from the table next to us though (maybe they were t allowed to stop those guests).

Everything we ordered was fantastic (tasty, unique dishes), and the service was great.
Very nice sea bream filet. Good portion for lunch. Much better than salmon. Good service.
Our server was wonderful. We brought in a service dog in training and everyone was very respectful. The food was delicious and offered something for the vegetarians as well as the meat-eaters. Highly recommend

Food was delicious but was disappointed by portion sizes. Had the ravioli and the duck. The Ravioli was just 3 bites, but the duck was fantastic.
