Bite, located in Inglewood, is a unique grocery store and restaurant with international products. The grocery side offers specialty items and unique products, although some items can be pricey. The in-house food received mixed reviews, with some finding it overpriced and others enjoying the simple but delicious meals. While some items, like the undercooked baked goods and inedible cappuccino, fell short, others, such as the T-bone steak, proved to be enjoyable. With a mix of positive and negative experiences, it seems that Bite has some improvements to make in order to fully satisfy all customers.
Food was great! Had a gluten free spaghetti squash pasta! Coffee was good enough to die for. Great service - attentive but not invasive.
Was looking for a cute place to take my dad for Father's Day brunch and ended up at Bite in Inglewood. The food was simple but delicious and we found the service fast and efficient. they even turned the music down a bit for us. really nice to head out from eating to walk thru the market and be able to buy the wonderful bread we had just enjoyed.
The grocery store has some interesting international products. The salamis and cheeses are good. But I bought a baguette and a loaf baked in store - and it was undercooked (!!). I couldn't believe it. Wasn't cheap either. Had to throw it out.Tried the restaurant/cafe. Overpriced $4.00 cappuccino was inedible. Absolutely awful. Ended up throwing it away. I'm giving the place 3 stars because everyone else here seemed to be enjoying their brunch very much. I also am not a big fan of the "hospital cafeteria" feel. I paid restaurant prices for cafeteria service.
I don't like the food for the most part....trying too hard! However my partner in crime loves the breakfast.
