This restaurant is a fantastic place to dine. Parking at Bow Falls and strolling through the forest to get to the restaurant creates a magical experience. The fondue is a must-try dish - absolutely amazing. The caramelized pineapple margarita is a refreshing and delicious drink. The staff at the restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The dining room reminds me of cellar restaurants that I went to in Austria and Germany fourty years ago. I was honestly taken aback by the cheese fondue that was greyish in colour from the heavy use of nutmeg and maybe a roux? The nutmeg was the predominate flavour , sadly, not the cheese . I have not experienced a restaurant like the Samurai Sushi Bar in many years. I will defiantly come back. The food is incredible and very authentic. Even the wine and beer list was great. If you want to experience a Japanese restaurant this is the place to go.
The restaurant was too loud and the waiting staff was also very burdened.
Very good sushis and sashimi, incredibly fresh. we were at 6 and the service was perfect.

We come here every time we visit Banff! The food is always amazing. Yet the rolls did seem a little smaller than we had remembered them. The ambience is great, and the manager is very friendly and quite funny too . We will be back!
