All the things they grow in th... read more Was here for a wedding reception on a very very hot day. The ceremony was in the back, the landscaped yard was a beautiful venue. All the things they grow in the garden was wonderful to see, you can see the staff going to cultivate what is needed for the meal to come.The indoor portion for this event was upstairs. It was a simple and elegant room that had a lot of character.It was challenging the day I was there as the temperatures were in the 30s and there were a lot of people in a room with only a window air conditioner. Not meant to take away but more offer a heads up.Inspite of this the service was incredible, the staff would have had to walk up and down the stairs so many times, they were so poised and professional at every moment.The meal was beautiful and very delicious. Textures, and flavours were an experience I'll remember for a long time.

We both enjoyed the Chef's Tasting Menu and were introduced to a wonderful array of flavours from around Alberta. Absolutely everything was divine, and we left with happy hearts and happy memories. It was truly the best way to end our incredible adventure. Everyone we encountered was truly lovely, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We look forward to returning when we are next in Calgary. We have officially decided that this will be our special restaurant here.

As... read more This review is LONG OVERDUE (hey it rhymed! . My wife and I had a fantastic evening out back in March for the YYC Expo and we chose to go with the full menu. As soon as we stepped into the space, we felt the weight lift off of our shoulders and we knew we were in for a great evening. The hostess was awesome (sorry I forgot your name . We could not have asked for more going out for a celebratory dinner (life achievement . This has been our best finer dining experience here in Calgary as they exceeded our expectations. Our server, Miriam, went above and beyond. She was warm, welcoming, informative and hilarious. Kudos to Chef Dean and the rest of the team. The food was fantastic (I didn't want to destroy it, the presentation was on point . It was such a unique experience dining here. We are looking forward to celebrating at Rouge for the years to come.
