Today, my colleague and I decided to try out Bodega for lunch on a whim. We picked this new restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant offers authentic Mexican cuisine in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Emily, was friendly and knew a lot about the menu. I highly recommend this charming local establishment and will definitely return in the future.
Great authentic tacos! The birria tacos was perfect especially when dipped in the spicy consommé . The chips and guacamole was good too. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
We were actually going to different restaurant close by but it was closed and walked by this place. So glad we went in. Lunch was so good. Small little place and the guy serving us was so friendly and helpful going over the menu with us. We are only in Calgary for 2 more weeks but will definitely be back.
This restaurant is located in Kensington, one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods I have ever been in. Crowds. Music. Hustle and Bustle. The ebb and flow of the city. Yet so safe. It was a warm September night when we stopped here for a great birthday dinner before ice cream cake at the house. It's a small restaurant with a small but varied menu. There were eight of us in the party and we tried just about everything. Well prepared food that was very tasty. A great selection of beer and Mexican soda too. Our waiter was exceptional. He was the only one working the front end of the restaurant and he was a pro. I highly recommend this restaurant. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Burrito Bañado Smothered, Guacamole, Enchiladas Verdes, Tortillas
