Typical bar food. Menu said the fish was freshly battered, looked more like frozen fish sticks, but tasty. The Cole slaw was good, fries were nothing special. Thursday afternoon early dinner with friends at 5pm, we thought we'd beat the crowds and the noise. I had an incredible experience at this restaurant, and the food was outstanding. Honestly, I'm not sure if you can relate to this, but I believe it's even better than Hyde Park—and it's more affordable too! They sell out quickly, so be sure to arrive early and bring a good appetite!
Matt Douds, the owner of Bowstring, is truly exceptional. He is both kind and compassionate, and it shows in everything he does. The prices are fantastic, and the food is even more impressive. If you haven't had the chance to try it, you're missing out!
I visited for the first time tonight, and I loved everything about it—the service, the food, and the atmosphere. I've definitely found a new favorite place for wings and beer, and I will be back for sure!
Great place to eat with friendly staff. The fried pickles are excellent. Tried the stromboli and it was outstanding. Cindy the owner has really made this little restaurant worth driving up here. Thank you, Bowstrings for another wonderful dinner!!!!!
