I recently moved to Caledonia and have been giving the local digs a try. This has been hands down my fave food so far. It's actually in my Top 3 for favourite Fish and Chips. Delicious, fast, portions are very generous and the staff is wonderful. Thanks for a great local experience : I'll be back and when Covid is over I'll bring along some family and friends! What A D doesn't like about Nessie's Nest:
The employees don 't wear hair nets! I came home and found a long, black, strand of hair inside the batter of my fish! Absolutely disgusting. What 's more, is that the owner tried to say 'life happens ' and shoo us away. She wasn 't going to give a refund if we didn 't ask! The absolute worst part is that the owner says this happens often! This spot is worth a try. They have large portions for affordable prices. Always well organized and with good character. Highly recommended.

Amazing! We picked up three of the 2 piece haddock chips, a large gravy and some onion rings for our mom's mother's day dinner. Everything was delicious! Best gravy I have every had! Coleslaw was perfect! Fish was crisp with the perfect amount of batter. Onion rings and fries also delicious. First time customer that will definitely be returning! Thank you.
