King's Chinese Restaurant - Caledonia

We really enjoyed the sweet fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, pork foo-young, sesame balls, onion rings, and thin noodles with pork. Everything was well prepared and tasted delicious. We have no complaints at all!

We may have started a new tradition for us by ordering Chinese take out :) When ordering during a major 'holiday' allow extra time as everyone else is doing the same thing.

I know their kitchen and food safety standards were unsanitary when they were in Hagersville and I would never eat there again. Change of venue does not change bad habits. We thought the health board had closed them down.

I went to Kings because the sign looked like the sign from kings buffet in Hagersville. I believe it is the same Family Member, but not 100% sure. The restaurant is small geared to take out rather than eat in. The space is new and clean, staff friendly and attentive. Take out Chinese food in a clam shell container with plastic utensils just didn't cut it. The food didn't stay hot very long and by time I got to eat in a near by park it was warm at best. The food seemed bland and if it is related to the Old kings it's not even close. I don't think I will even give it a second try.

Great food. The food is in huge portions, very well cooked and seasoned. nothing is ever bland or boring. The service is very quick, only ever have to wait about 10-20 minutes. The servers are friendly and polite. The restaurant is clean, tidy and very well decorated.
