Most enjoyable part was reading the reviews and laughing, later followed by a feeling of worry. Service is good. Food is average. Atmosphere is like a bad wedding in the 80’s. Overall, it looks better than da Vinci next door and the prices are reasonable ish. Conclusion not bad Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Sticky Pork View all feedback.
What Alexandria Tiffany doesn't like about The Black Sheep Diner:
I suggest the butter chicken should be removed from the menu cause that was absolutely rancid! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
Lovely place, food was reasonable and delicious. staff was super friendly, only downside was the atmosphere. Felt dull and slow but maybe that's your style. Not bad! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Sticky Pork

Service ok. Food not the best. Hotel really needs to upgrade their restaurant management and quality. Will make coming here a much better experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 450–500
Worst service! Butter chicken tasted like spicey tomato. Waiters are miserable and take their own sweet time to clean tables and serve customers. They didn't have stock of any of the drinks we we wanted (non-alcoholic). Pathetic. What a pity the Caledon Hotel only offers 2 options for food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Service was okay but the food was very slow. There weren’t a lot of customers. Prices are quite decent compared to Cape Town but reading the past reviews, it seems that the steak was the only decent tasting menu item so I went with that. Steak wasn’t that bad, the sauce was pretty good. But the chips didn’t hit the mark at all. There aren’t a lot of places to choose from inside Caledon Spa so this seems like the better option compared to da Vinci. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200
