Black Canyon - Caldwell

Came here on a whim and my husband and I were not disappointed! The place was beautiful and clean. We sat on the outdoor patio and it was also beautiful. Our server was amazing and sweet. Our food was to die for! If i could give this restaurant more then 5 stars I would! 10 out of 10 recommend! We ordered the bang bang shrimp and the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizers. For our entrees we both ordered the filet and shrimp pasta.

Our group was in Ft.Wayne for a convention and discovered the Black Canyon Restaurant. A truly fantastic experience. Our server Raven was fast, friendly, and enhanced our dining experience. Alex, the manager also came over to our table when he discovered we were from Nashville. We had a very pleasant chat when he checked in on us to make sure everything was great. Highly recommend the Black Canyon!! We'll be back next year!

Sunday brunch is amazing, but strongly suggest you make reservations. The Berry Belgian waffles are a party in your mouth and will make your eyes roll back in your head and involuntarily make yummy sounds. Did I mention the heavenly melt in your mouth homemade side of whipped cream? Anytime I'm back in town you'll find me here for Sunday brunch with my little face pressed against the window waiting to get in.

I went to the café a few times since they opened and it was really great! The servers are friendly and outgoing, and the food was always super good. Trust me, I have ordered a variety of things... From prunky Patti melts to my favorite, French dip w/melted tails... the sandwich was not only stacked high with meat, but it was the real deal, and the meat was amazing. I have seriously missed going to a home-style place, that's close to me, and I'm happy to know that they are so good. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it.

Best lunch today at Black Canyon Cafe! Cheese Burger with onion rings oh so delicious!! My granddaughter had the chicken strips, the best we've ever eaten!! We have cherry cake and apple cake to go and they were delicious!! Definitely back and forth to all my friends!!
