Asin Filipino Cuisine - Caldwell

First and foremost, I want to commend the kindness of the staff. Dining here feels like being at the home of a friend or family member. When it comes to the food, I always approach a new restaurant with a bit of skepticism about how my experience will turn out. I often opt for a classic dish or something I particularly enjoy as a way to gauge my overall impression of the place. After much consideration, I decided to try the Caldareta (one of my favorites). I can be quite particular about how I like it, but I decided to take the plunge! The Caldareta that arrived was quite different from what I'm accustomed to, but not in a bad way. In fact, I appreciated the chef's personal touch. It featured flavors that I had never encountered before, but they were a delightful surprise. It was a refreshing twist on a dish that I usually order often. As for the desserts… words truly can’t capture how incredible they were! They were so memorable that I'm still thinking about them days later! I will definitely be back, as there are still so many other items on the menu that I want to try!

Cozy and laid-back BYOB restaurant. We had a wonderful time with my husband, son, and in-laws' niece. The menu was intriguing, and the food was outstanding, starting from the appetizers. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place for authentic Filipino cuisine, and we will definitely return. Chef Queenie, you're amazing!

I went to the restaurant with my children and was warmly greeted by the staff, who humorously remarked, "It's a sin not to eat here!" The restaurant is very clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. I had the opportunity to meet one of the chefs, who was very friendly. The food is fantastic and truly authentic when it comes to Filipino cuisine. Overall, it’s a great place to dine with family and friends!

We had a great meal from apps to dessert. We enjoyed some famous Filipino dishes with a spin. Definitely recommend this place!

Very friendly staff and incredible food. We love that there is finally a fantastic Filipino place close to home. So far everything we’ve had is incredible, especially the pork roll with Mango and fiesta turon!
