The Works - Calderdale

I recently had the worst meal in a long time at this restaurant, and it cost me £60. I do not recommend ordering any food from here, as it was disgusting. The chips were rubbery and reheated, the pizza base was thick and solid, the kebab was greasy, and the chicken nuggets were stale and horrible. I ended up throwing it all in the bin.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The food arrived a bit late, but the staff went out of their way to call and inform us. They even gave us some complimentary items as an apology, which was unexpected but appreciated. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious, making the wait worth it. Overall, it was a positive experience and I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Terrible. Ordered a half and half. The bolognaise was just mushrooms no meat, bland overpriced, never again.

The food was decent, but there was a problem with the advertised 15% discount for orders over £25 not being applied at checkout due to no code being offered. When I called for a 10% discount code for online orders, I was informed that the code was no longer available. Despite having a large order, the staff member I spoke to was unaware of the codes. After wasting time trying to figure out the discount situation, we ended up ordering without receiving the discount, resulting in a cost £5 more than expected. If you are unable to honor the discounts advertised, then it is better not to offer them at all.

The best pizza ever we tried. Very fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back to this place. Very friendly staff
