Eiscafe Weiner - Calau

We met this eiscafé a few years ago when we visited calau. at the return to berlin we came back to calau; Sunday afternoon with the most beautiful summer weather. it is located in the courtyard of a house. the access takes place from the road, which is centrally located at the market square of calau. on the road there are many signs to find the entrance. we went through the entrance and stood in a beautiful courtyard with a series of tables, as at the first visit. for rainy weather there is a gastronomy that can be reached from the inside. besides a selection of ice cups, a good-bourgeois German kitchen is offered. from soljanka to the breakfast on the farm to the Bark routes there are many dishes. we didn't try them because we were there in the afternoon coffee season. also softeis is available. espresso machines have found the way into the brandenburg province: so there are proper espresso, cappuccino, milk coffee etc. we ordered the hot cup this time. I asked for eierlikör to do this, they want nothing else: the wish was naturally fulfilled. both egg cups contained three egg balls and a good part of heather. the prices in this caffeine are, in comparison to berlin, very civilian. the ice cups cost significantly less than five euro; food prices do not reach ten euro for a long time. the operators, a few medium years, were friendly. the atmosphere was relaxed family. there seemed to be many guests coming from the place. at the location, deep in the south brandenburgs shortly before the Saxon border, they probably live of it. which goes in calau, e.g. on the way to vacation, we can recommend only one visit. calau is located near the autobahn a13, there is an eponymous exit. a reasonable alternative to autobahnrastern is everything.
