Campanile Calais Restaurant

Exceptionally clean dog friendly hotel pleasantly surprised ( although the look of the outside apartments were a little off putting) Very friendly staff. Room was very compact but adequate for our unplanned overnight stay in Calais. Extremely comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection. Great with families with small children.

The buffets are pretty good value. Salad buffet, dessert buffet and the buffet breakfast. Service was friendly and they do speak English. Certainly not a destination restaurant but not a bad place to eat if you're stopping overnight at the Campanile hotel.

Good local food. Three menu options available both buffet or a la carte. Wine list. Soup or burger of the day available,

Had dinner which was excellent. Special mention for the starter buffet which was superb and you could revisit. This means if you are on a budget you can eat very reasonably yet have a fulfilling and tasty meal.The lady who served us was delightful and spoke good English. She recommended the Cod mainl course which was lovely.

Ate their Las eve. Excellent food and friendly staff.although arriving at 21.00 hours this was not a problem
