Having arrived off the ferry and headeddown to Paris we decided to grab a bite to eat. Found this restaurant which was very pleasant and very good value. A word of warning the baguettes are huge. we could happily have enjoyed one between the...two of us. On our return north we had magret de canard and a hamburger. Both were delicious. Heartily recommend the restaurant and we will use it again. View all feedback.
Our daughter arriving at the luncheon of the station, arriving at the buffet of the Calais train station and lunch a great fish meal and excellent inflating coffee with drink for a sum of derisory for a Sunday. It wasn't the first time or the last time. we started the aero on the terrace but the sun decided otherwise. and all this in a family atmosphere
With my elders at very friendly front of the housewife. we had menus and I had a la carte with the goat cheese and smoked salmon salad for beginners who was beautiful and fresh, followed by piece de boeuf and vegetables (the dame acquainted me on no carbohydrate diet without additional cost) my elders had salmon and cabillaud with king prawns, they both said perfect and they were perfectly cooked. then papa had a cafe-gourmand, which had a large plate with different tos size cake and an espresso. washed off with a beautiful, very bright gascoigne rose. wonderful service. will be back!
Found this place as it was the top restaurant on trip adviserWas able to request a table online and reviewed a voicemail shortly after to confirm.
We have eaten lunch here several times on our way to catch the train for the Tunnel and have always found it very good. There is a good variety of food and the menu ay 19.50 euros is great value. They also serve some of the largest Kirs around and are happy for me to take my dog and always provide drinking water. Imagine then, how sad it was to hear yesterday that we would be some of their last customers as they were closing that day due to rising costs and the French economy. What a shame. We will certainly miss stopping off there. Good Luck to all the staff and thank you.
