I had dinner at the Riverview Resturant . I found the bartender to be friendly. The preparation of the food took a long time. I had high expectations of fresh Maine seafood. The food was not that good. I had the chicken wings which were over cooked. I waited 30 minutes and got salmon with french fries. The teriyaki salmon could have been better. Got takeout fish sandwich, great batter, nice portion, perfectly cooked.
Good food. I had a nice Fillet. It was nice not having to settle with a hamburger. Very nice local folks. You can tell the locals hang out here. And everyone was very welcoming. I ended up just hanging out with some salt if the earth Maine'ers! Loved it. I'll be back next fall same time.
Very nice atmosphere. I had the fish and chips and it was very good. And washed it down with the locally brewed beer. Two thumbs up. I will be a repeat customer.
Great food!! Friendly Staff!! Cool Old building built in 1824 I think!!
