I don't like to put places down but honestly my experience at L'ideal yesterday was so poor. If tapas is advertised I expect traditional Spanish tapas. We ordered meatballs in tomato sauce the meatballs were cold in the middle, bread and alioli is hard to get wrong and was fine, patata bravas was literally fried potatoes with ketchup and mayo which is not patata bravas! Red wine was chilled which again is not something that you'd ever expect. To top of a bad experience the bill came and was so over priced! What would have cost 15-20€ generally was 30€! Not somewhere we will return.
I don't know where to start.... Patatas bravas: ketchup with mayonnaise smole plates... Red vino gold...

A wonderful tapas menu and always served or such a high degree. Truly fantastic . Friendly French lady owner to.
Our first stop if the day a really friendly place. Excellent wine and we loved the tapas on offer.
