In the shadow of a mattress, near the sea and in a corner at the end of the Rambla. Good quality, better service, good terrace that gives a lot of game.Today at least, more outsiders than indigenous.

Located next to the Columbus monument at the southern end of La Rambla, the Cava Universal serves great food and drinks and for a much better value and less noise than the restaurants up the road. The staff is super nice, service is fast and always friendly. Burgers are very tasty (see picture, only €12), and pasta, salad and so on as well. And the best: Family ownend in the sixth generation (opened around 1858).
