Bennett's Grill And Cafe - Calabash

Wanted to see what the hype was all about and it was a great experience the food was plenty full and delicious. The service was exceptional especially the young bartender girl was pleasant and efficient she made some great margaritas. Sorry I forgot her name. The dj/ karaoke guy was awesome and he had a great country voice. He also played all my requests. So I would defiantly recommend going there . Also it?s big enough to be able to dance and not bump into everyone love that as well. But the best thing about the place they let me bring my dog in thanks a lot guys !!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Wow! We have been missing out. First time here and we've been coming to Sunset and Calabash for many years, Shrimp and flounder were delicious and lightly fried. Gorgeous, delicious french fries! Best hushpuppies ever with cinnamon butter!! Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating area and great music. Loved it!

Omg! Somebody knows how to make real BBQ! Absolutely perfect! Had a smokey taste, pulled, not pulverized, and no big pieces of fat! The vinegar sauce complimented the pork and was fantastic, without being overly spicy. The slaw was light and refreshing without being drowned in mayonnaise. Hush puppies were light and crispy...and the cinnamon butter....to die for! When you really know how to cook, you don't have to mask the food with dozens of ingredients. Simplicity is the main confident ingredient! Let me wrap this up with my thoughts on the staff. Oh how refreshing it is,, to eat in an establishment with genuinely good and kind people. That level of hospitality cannot be faked. It comes from good hearted folks! You have my attention and respect. May you have continued success.

Been here twice now while visiting my parents who recently retired in town. The food is DELICIOUS, prices are great, and my kids love sitting outside. The crabcake and fish sandwich, and the hushpuppies are perfect. And I don't really even like hushpuppies. ?

Stumbled upon this place after a day at Sunset Beach and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Lots of seating both inside and out and pet friendly outside! We had the crab cake burger, flounder sandwich and the oyster sandwich, as well as fries. Everything was fresh and not oily tasting! We will be back!
