If I could, I would give this restaurant zero stars. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude! He kept interrupting me while I was trying to place my order, and I was only going slowly because it was my first time ordering. I asked for a few items, and right from the start, he had an attitude. When I ordered a combo with a Dr Pepper, he raised his voice and insisted that I list my order separately, questioning what was wrong with me. I apologized, but he continued to be unprofessional, so I ended the call. I will never order from this place again. If they can't provide good customer service, they won't attract customers or succeed in business. I've never encountered someone so rude before.
The food is incredibly fresh and delicious! Their egg drop soup is my favorite among all the restaurants in the area. The service is quick, too!
I noticed that there aren’t many reviews on Yelp for restaurants in Cairo, so I thought I’d help change that. The health rating displayed outside is a solid 99. The staff is very friendly and seems to know many of the regular customers, which speaks volumes about the place. Their prices are quite reasonable for both lunch and dinner, and the service is efficient. I walked in and placed my order at the counter while there were four other customers already there, and they had my food ready in just 11 minutes. Overall, this place is pretty good. The vegetables were fresh and the meal was flavorful, though it wasn’t the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely give it another try.
With such a large family, this place hits all the marks...affordable, tasty, great customer service! The cashier always makes us smile and is so very sweet!
NOT A QUALITY PRODUCT! My husband wanted some Chinese food and since this was really the only option in Cairo, he decided to give it a try. I chose chicken lo mein, light on the oil while my husband chose the Szechuan chicken and a double order of spring rolls. When he returned with the food, I could tell just by a first glance that it was very basic and not a quality product. I tasted the noodles and they were so greasy that I could only manage a couple of bites before I quit. The spring rolls were so soaked in OLD oil that I had to immediately release the bite into the toilet. They were greasy and mushy without the texture that vegetable rolls should have. Unfortunately, this will go down as our worst meal this trip! This is the type of food you get when businesses cut corners and are more focused on prices than quality. They need to use better quality fresh oil, I suggest grapeseed), and add fresh hand chopped vegetables to their spring rolls. Vegetables should have texture and not taste like baby food. Spring rolls must be cooked at the proper temperature and drained prior to being packaged or served. This food was so bad that it just had to be discarded. If I choose to have Chinese food tomorrow, I will definitely be driving to Tallahassee!
