On Friday night, the atmosphere was lovely, thanks to the many friendly waitresses who made us feel right at home. The service was cheerful, and I felt very comfortable throughout the evening. However, the premade margaritas were disappointing, and I decided to add tequila to my second drink, but I wouldn't order that again. The only bourbon option was Maker's Mark, which was fine. The food was excellent; the chips w... View all feedback.
What Ashleigh West doesn't like about Casa Grande And Grill Cairo, Ga:
Awful experience! This is not authentic Mexican food at all. I ordered the Birria Tacos and asked the waiter about the consommé— the flavorful broth in which the meat is cooked. Instead, he suggested red sauce. I insisted on the consommé, but he said they didn’t serve it. What I received was not birria tacos at all. The salsa was bland, and the rice and beans were even worse! Fortunately, there was hot sauce on the t... View all feedback.

Stay Away Bar is a scam. I ordered three vodka drinks for $45, and they claimed I ordered doubles, which was not true. When I expressed my frustration, the staff threatened to call the police. Then, he pulled out cash and tried to give me $20 back, but I refused it. I ended up leaving feeling upset. The drinks were served in small glasses filled with ice, and they were less than half full each time. I really wonder how many other customers they have deceived.
Casa Grande, located in the Best Western in Cairo, GA, was a place where I hoped to find a delicious meal but instead was met with disappointment. I'm Craig, a videographer on a real estate shoot, and I ended up here thanks to my hotel and a Yelp review I foolishly overlooked. Let’s break down the $15 Taco Al Pastor experience. It was like ordering a Ferrari and receiving a tricycle. Each taco came with just one lonely tortilla—akin to making a movie with only a single frame. As for the pork, it was so drenched in grease that it could’ve been a contestant on The Bachelor—where's the char? I've seen more intensity in a Hallmark movie. But that wasn’t all! There was also an $8 ground beef burrito, which had the texture of a damp sponge, and a $6 quesadilla that resembled the culinary equivalent of elevator music. The sides? Refried beans with a flavor so off-putting they could star in a horror film, paired with bagged chips that left me longing for the mediocre quality of airplane food. The total came to over $31. For that price, I expected a meal fit for a Marvel superhero, not one that felt like it belonged in the deleted scenes of a low-budget sitcom. So, is there a better way to do Taco Al Pastor? Absolutely! Here’s how to prepare a REAL one: 1. **Marinate the Pork**: Blend guajillo and ancho chiles with orange juice, vinegar, and a variety of spices. Allow the pork to soak up these flavors overnight as if it's gearing up for its shining moment. 2. **Use Two Tortillas**: Make it a double feature! This isn’t amateur hour, after all. 3. **Layer Creatively**: Stack the pork, pineapple, and onions vertically and cook until you achieve the char that Casa Grande seems to have forgotten. 4. **Finish it Off**: Top it with pineapple, onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. So, if you find yourself in Cairo, GA, take heed from my experience. Sometimes, two stars are just two stars, and no amount of optimism will transform it into a five-star affair. Bon Appétit, or better yet, good luck! Craig of CraigFilm
