My favorite restaurant lately! I have to admit I'm a bit biased because I absolutely love a smoky, juicy piece of meat. I'm thrilled that this place offers it, as finding quality smoked meat can be quite rare—and often expensive. The owners clearly pour their hearts and souls into their business, and it really shows when you taste their food. The atmosphere is always clean and inviting. Thank you for a great experience! My favorite restaurant in Cairns! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great nutrition. We had our engagement party there, and the meat was perfect—everyone loved it. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly. The waitress makes fantastic cocktails, and I can't resist the lemon drop. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a romantic date night, you can't go wrong with the brisket and the helpful service.

As for the food, my top choice on the menu is the brisket cheeseburger. I've tried everything else on the menu and none of it compares. This burger is simply phenomenal, featuring the juiciest meat that's been lovingly smoked for over 12 hours. The last photo is from another night when I shared a platter with two friends. It had a little bit of everything, including various meats, corn, salad, pickles, and even tacos. If you're struggling to decide what to order, this platter could be the perfect option for you. Had more than a fantastic local food and a few drinks at this place, must say the atmosphere is quite secret and addictive. Meals like our ancestors cooked, real and by scratchy great service and a friendly smile. will be safe again.

Ordered a variety box for 1pax (AUS$35 . Unfortunately almost all meat was very dry (brisket, ‘juicy’ pulled pork, spareribs . Some pieces of the brisket and pulled pork were so dry, to the point I could not slice it with my knife, let alone chew on it (had to spit it out . I asked for gravy which made it much better, but it nowhere near the ‘melt in my mouth’ kind of meat I was kind of expecting based on reviews.Another table this evening also only received half a portion of their rack of spareribs and also mentioned it was dry..The waitress/hostess did seem lovely and I’d say you could still give this place a shot. Not sure what happened, but I reckon the kitchen staff perhaps didn’t have their best day.
