What Carrie Beatty doesn't like about Coral Hedge Brasserie at Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns:
We had the buffet. Food was fresh and plentiful but disappointed that the variety of meats being cooked has been reduced significantly. Oysters were small but tasty as were the prawns. Local prawns in the chilled section but the garlic prawns were not local. View all feedback. What Anya Hartmann likes about Coral Hedge Brasserie at Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns:
Perfect for dinner. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. The menu has a wide selection of dishes from different kitchens. It would be nice to have a quiet live music View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant in question seems to have a mixed reputation, especially when it comes to their buffet offerings. Many reviewers noted that the seafood buffet was overpriced for the limited selection and average quality of dishes. Some mentioned that the food was not well-prepared, with one reviewer stating that the desserts were terrible and tasted artificial. However, there were positive comments about the service, especially from staff members like Patricia and Winnie who were described as amazing. Some diners also enjoyed their meals from the a la carte menu, mentioning dishes like Peking Duck and Barramundi as highlights. Overall, while the restaurant may not be the best choice for those seeking a high-quality seafood buffet, it seems to have its strengths in terms of service and a la carte options.
