This is the best Indian restaurant in Cairns! The portions are generous for the price we paid. Their cholesterol dish is truly the best we've ever had! We enjoyed it on our first night in Cairns, even though it's a lunch special. We loved it so much that we returned twice during our vacation. The staff is also incredibly polite and friendly. What User doesn't like about Bombay Kitchen Cairns City:
By far the worst Indian in Australia. Staff were nice but the food was shocking, stale chewy topping on the chaat, zero taste to the mains, zero seasoning, maybe cheap cuts of lamb, nan's over cooked and crispy like a dry pizza base. It was pretty much inedible and was $85 for 2 people and we had to leave and get dinner elsewhere. That's the real insult to injury View all feedback.
We were a large group of 34 people from 9 families who chose to enjoy dinner at Bombay Kitchen during our trip to Cairns. Selecting this restaurant was certainly one of the highlights of our visit. They created a customized buffet menu for us, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is well-kept, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The portions are generous as well. If you find yourself in Cairns, I highly recommend visiting this place.

I chose Bombay Kitchen on a whim for a lunch with my son, and we were both thoroughly impressed by the food and the staff! The portions were generous, and the waitresses were attentive and friendly. They offered excellent recommendations for our meals. The food was absolutely delicious! The decor and atmosphere were just right—elegant without being overwhelming.
I love good indian cuisine. This was amazing. I could not suggest a better restuarant (it even beat a fav of mine sorry umesh). The freshness of the cook and the quality of meat and sauces where phenomenal. This a must visit , beautiful owners and it has captured my heart and taste buds
What a best Indian meal I’ve had at Bombay Kitchen Cairns on last night dinner. We ordered Naan Butter Chicken and Tandoori. None of the dish disappointed. Butter chicken was so best. They took 20 min to bring meal to our table but considering the quality taste and freshness it was worth it. Thank you
