LILO Restaurant + Bar + Pooldeck

I decided to use my free drink voucher and stopped by the bar shortly after it opened since I was traveling alone. It was a big mistake if you want to socialize with other guests, as I was the only one there.

Only had a entree but service was good and the ambiance of the restaurant was good. Ate there early on a Saturday night and only a couple of diners.

I was staying at the hotel and thought I would try their food for dinner. Even though I had looked at the reviews I thought how bad can it be.....I ordered the steak with garlic mash vegetables. The steak was average no steak knife offered....the mash vegetables were heated in a microwave from frozen....not good. There are so many better restaurants in walking distance that you could choose.

Frustrated, we decided to order from Uber Eats instead and attempted to dine in the restaurant on another evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant had a strong odor of alcohol, dirt, and sweat, prompting us to request for a door to be kept open. The manager curtly refused and the service was slow, despite being the only patrons in the establishment. The meals were mediocre, with overpriced frozen vegetables. From the looks of other reviews, it seems that the management is not taking necessary steps to improve the experience at the restaurant. Perhaps some additional staff training or a change in management, along with the use of fresh ingredients, could help turn things around. In the meantime, there are many other wonderful dining options within walking distance that we found to be more enjoyable.

Hot and cold buffet breakfast with so much variety and selections, real coffee on top. Would be great though to have it on the pool deck.
