Small Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Cairnlea. Today I order egg noodles soup(huu tieu nam vang) and my son had beef noodle soup.(pho Bo). Food is served fresh, noodle were cook just right. Soup stock perfect.Meal were well price, portion large enough to feed a large growing adult. Parking is plentiful,Why would anyone travel to St Albans to have a put up with all the hassles. I want to provide a balanced review, but I have to say the service was quite unusual. We were greeted by a Vietnamese woman who spoke to us in Vietnamese, even though my partner responded only in English. Since I understand Vietnamese, I was able to translate for my partner, but the experience felt a bit strange. We ordered some coffee, which seemed pricey given the small portions we received. Ordered rice paper rolls take away and to my surprise they were made fresh while I waited. very happy with it! good taste, clean restaurant friendly staff.
Food was great and flavoursome. They used fresh ingredients and had good quality food. Service was quite quick as well. Would definitely come back again!
Been here a few time, it has met expectation as a local Viet resteraunt. Had the rice noodle soup couple of times and and pho. Rice noodle soup is so delicious, could do with more noodles though. The broth has so much flavour and is to die for. Overall delicious food however would be nicer if the portion was slightly larger Customer service is friendly, waiters were nice.
Not the greatest restaurant, ordered the roast duck but they hardly had any meat on it and the rice was burnt. The bubble tea was average but it was a bit too sweet. Wouldn’t recommend it
Menu changes and the food is much better the two plates ordered we really good nothing to fault would be back again now since the food improved
