I was pleasantly surprised to find that this café offered a variety of vegan options that were clearly labeled on the menu. The staff were well-informed about vegan cuisine. I tried the jackfruit, barbecue sauce, and vegan cheese toastie, which was absolutely delicious. I also indulged in the vegan hot chocolate deluxe (with marshmallows and cream) and a vegan blueberry and almond cupcake. The café has a lovely view overlooking Loch Goil.

We visited on 01/10/2022 and were disappointed to find that they had a very limited menu with only one vegan option. The food is not made on-site, but comes pre-made from suppliers due to kitchen restrictions. We ended up sharing the only vegan option available between the two of us. The portion size of the drawn heifer burrito was very small. We also tried a shed vegan hot chocolate, chocolate orange cake, and lemon cake.
