The restaurant is in the old town with a beautiful view of the St. It's intimate inside and there are shady tables outside. the reception is friendly and the service is very good. the lunch menu is not long, but the choice range is good. There are three salads, and the one we had was impressive. the range of ingredients was wide, the combination of flavors was delicious and it was a generous portion. We also had tagliatellatellatelle with foie gras (which might be controversial for some); It was beautifully cooked, with fresh pasta. the dish of the day (Lamb) looked well as, as were desserts (all individually and freshly prepared). the chef is responsible for the success of the dishes, of course, but the restaurant is a cooperative company of local producers, so absolutely everything is of local origin and of high quality. the main dishes were 12 to 20 €. exceptionally, there was no menu (not covering several dishes) - even if we noticed that other restaurants in cahors did not have a menu either. the restaurant also offers for sale products, including wine, e.g. pots of beans in sauce to make your own cassoulet. We recommend it without reservation.
We were heading to another restaurant but let's hesitate to see the menu. nearby were the small producers and it seemed a much better option and that was what turned out to be. servers were friendly and helpful and food was excellent. We each had different dishes. One was foie gras with truffle sauce, a salad composed with paré and terrines and I had duck jam. We had a beautiful rose I bought three bottles to take away. the food was delicious, the wine was excellent, the magnificent setting overlooking the lot and the company is an opportunity for the small producers of delicious French cuisine. we recommend you make a point if you visit the small producers and enjoy their fair, you will not regret it.
Food and quality wine here. We had the regional discovery plate that was beautiful. quality to the end. excellent duck thigh rillettes, foie gras, gésiers and cabecou. There is a small dining room behind a shop that serves as a market for a group of producers. the guy who served us was a winemaker, really nice and very generous about the wine of the other producer they stored. Once we're done, he gave us samples. We will certainly come back and this place is certainly an incentive to visit it more often.

We also chose lunch, which was really spectacular. I'm not one for all foie gras but I had a delicious salad with duck rillettes and a delicious rocamadour cheese with honey and nuts. We also selected the high-end wine, which was frankly exceptional. Continue to visit this store every time I come back to thishorse...... the gentleman who manages the store is a real ambassador of cahors and makes you feel welcome as soon as you cross the door.
They make big salads. very nice staff and a good price. not sure whether it has the ambiente for an evening meal.
